Not Everything Needs to be a Fucking App

Okay so yesterday I was watching BTMC's newest video about COE 2025 and it was pretty cool and he had this thing he was giving out called Slider Pals. Pretty much just stickers of popular slider designs from popular osu! maps and I decided to get one to put on my laptop since I thought it would be funny to have. Now when I wanted to check the status of the order and when it would arrive, I click the button to be presented with A FUCKING REDIRECT to the GOOGLE PLAYSTORE to download an app just so I can see when my order arrives.

But okay maybe if I check it on my laptop it will open a web page with the status.

WHYYYYYYY WHY DO I NEED TO GET MY FUCKING PHONE JUST TO CHECK AN ORDER. I can get real time delivery updates by checking the fucking tab ON MY FUCKING COMPUTER. Why is this something that needs to forced.

And if I installed it that means I have to waste storage installing another app, making another fucking account that probably needs my email and phone number which will only get me more spam, and then get personalized ads and spam notifications just to check my order for a sticker.

Every other online shopping platform lets you check without some bullshit app why did Shoppify think that was a good idea.

And the worst part is that it's probably made with react native or some web shit so that means that THEY COULD HAVE JUST MADE IT A FUCKING WEB PAGE TO BEGIN WITH.

All of this bullshit so they can sell my data to shitty advertisers and so they can sell me more SHIT I DON'T WANT

Is it really that deep that I had to make a whole rant about this? Maybe not but I don't give a shit this is my website and I despise this BULLSHIT.
